Moeller Precision Tool is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who’s eager to grow into a Process Engineer role. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands the shop floor and wants to apply that knowledge to improve manufacturing processes — no advanced engineering degree required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop work instructions to optimize fabrication of Build to Print precision components.
- Generates bill of materials and develops process flows to meet customer specifications.
- Interacts with Engineering Manager, Plant Management, and the Quality Manager for job related functions.
- Provides assistance to plant for technical issues related to processes and customer specifics.
- Ensures all red-lined drawings are updated at completion of process.
- May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description related to engineering discipline.
- Works with shift supervisors and department managers to insure proper quality throughout the process for first time through.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5 years of machinist experience in a job shop or production environment.
- Solid understanding of CNC/manual machining (mills, lathes, grinders).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and machining instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes, tolerances, and materials.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot machining issues and contribute to process improvements.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with CAD software is preferred.
- Experience with Epicor ERP or similar manufacturing systems is a plus.
- Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic aligned with Moeller Precision Tool’s values.

Note: This is not a senior engineering role. If you have a master’s degree in engineering or extensive experience as a manufacturing engineer, this position may not be the right fit.
SCHEDULE:
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
- Normal shift: 8-10 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with overtime required.
- Approximate weekly hours: 48 hours on average.
